Brand identity
Porsche Design is the studio founded in 1972 by Ferdinand Alexander Porsche, carrying the marque’s engineering language into products beyond the car. This tower is its best-known application in housing.
The building’s distinguishing mechanism is the car elevator known as the "Dezervator": the driver enters the elevator together with the vehicle, and the car is parked in a private sky garage beside the residence. This departs from the usual "interior design signature" approach to branded residences — here the brand is written into how the building works.
The developer, Dezer Development, later applied the same idea at Bentley Residences. This team opened the car-elevator tower category in Sunny Isles, which is why the closest comparable when evaluating a resale unit is most often the building itself.
Neighborhood dynamics
The oceanfront of Sunny Isles Beach runs as an unbroken line of towers along the east side of Collins Avenue. The building sits within that band, with Hallandale Beach to the north and Bal Harbour and Surfside to the south.
